Waterhaul Take-Back Scheme

Built to be used. Designed to be recycled.

At Waterhaul, we believe responsible product design does not stop once a product leaves our workshop. Every product we make is designed with its full life in mind, including what happens when it is worn out, damaged beyond repair, or no longer needed.

That is why we offer a take back scheme for every single product in the Waterhaul range - from adventure boxes to pocket knives.

When your Waterhaul product reaches the end of its useful life, you can send it back to us. We will disassemble it, separate the materials, and recycle or responsibly process each component wherever possible.

Returning a product is simple. Just send it back to Waterhaul and we will take care of the rest.

Once received, we assess the product, break it down into its individual materials and separate components such as plastic, metal, lenses, fabric, screws or packaging. Each material is then routed into the most suitable reuse or recycling pathway available.

For plastic components made from Waterhaul’s Traceable Marine Plastic, we can recycle the material again through our own marine plastic recycling system. This allows the plastic to be reprocessed and given a new life, helping to keep valuable material in circulation and away from landfill.

Why it matters

Many products are difficult to recycle because they are made from mixed materials that are permanently bonded together. We take a different approach.

Wherever possible, Waterhaul products are designed so that components can be separated, identified and processed at end of life. This helps us reduce waste, recover useful materials and continue building a more circular system for marine plastic.

Our goal is simple: if we make it, we take responsibility for it.
