Hand-finished Italian-crafted car-eye frames made from 100% recycled fishing gear, recovered from the UK coastline. Matte lilac finish inspired by the heather that grows around our coastline in the late summer. Designed for durability with five-barrel hinges, the frames are heat-mouldable for a custom fit at home.

Our frames are built with our 100% recycled Traceable Marine Plastic (Polypropylene) that we have recovered and recycled in the UK. For every frame you can trace the exact locations of where the plastic for your batch was recovered from. Polypropylene is a lightweight, durable polymer, commonly used in fishing gear such as ropes, bait bags and mooring lines.

In the marine environment it poses a major entanglement threat to marine life, but its recovered and recycled form, it's a strong plastic suited to a very broad range of uses, and helps to give our frames a flexibility that, when heated, allows you to make adjustments to your frames at home.

I love Waterhaul sunglasses. I bought my first pair in 2022 and they have been great. Unfortunately, this summer has not been a good one with regards to me and sunglasses and after managing to lose two pairs of Waterhauls and break my third, I decided to invest in some new ones. I was really happy to see these in such a lovely colour and on sale as it meant I could replace my missing ones at an amazing price.

As for my broken ones, I sent them back to Waterhaul as part of their lifelong warranty and they were able to replace the frames and send them back all free of charge. I would 100% recommend this company! Thank you Waterhaul.

Gorgeous sunglasses, beautiful fit and stunning colour, so many compliments

I'm so pleased with this product and I love the ethics of this business. I have been looking for them for some years! The communication and support from this company was superb, they were such a helpful team with all my questions. DEFINITELY go for these guys. The Daymer Lichen are a beautiful, funky pair of glasses. I really like the light tone and they fit me well - I think i'm generally fairly small. However, it's easy to bend the arms with a blow dryer anyway ,just to get them really snug.

Like Lenses

Look good. Love view through glasses, but they do not sit right on my nose, slip down. Need to find a way to fix this or I probably won't wear because constantly having to push them up.
