Mylor frames are made from our Traceable Marine Plastic™, recovered from the UK coastline and recycled by Waterhaul. The anti-slip temples offer a secure grip for the more adventurous outdoor activities. The frames have a matte raw finish (a sage green tone that comes from the original pigments of the fishing gear we've recycled - and so can vary by batch) and are backed by our lifetime warranty.

All Waterhaul frames are covered by our Lifetime Frame Warranty. Broken frames can be repaired or replaced free of charge, forever, while end-of-life frames go back into our recycling process to become a new product.

Mylor

Inspired by the sheltered creeks and sailing waters of Mylor Harbour, this style takes its name from one of Cornwall’s most established maritime communities. Set within the Fal Estuary, Mylor is defined by calm waters, wooded shoreline and a strong sailing community.

Every pair of prescription Waterhaul's include a 100% recycled PET lens cloth and folding cork hard case, and is carefully packed in 100% recyclable, plastic-free packaging.

Prescription orders will take 1-2 weeks to fulfil and as the lenses are custom made to order they are not eligible for returns.

Our frames are built with our 100% recycled Traceable Marine Plastic (polypropylene) that we have recovered and recycled in the UK. For every frame you can trace the exact locations of where the plastic for your batch was recovered from.

Polypropylene is a lightweight, durable polymer, commonly used in fishing gear such as ropes, bait bags and mooring lines.

In the marine environment it poses a major entanglement threat to marine life, but its recovered and recycled form, it's a strong plastic suited to a very broad range of uses, and helps to give our frames a flexibility that, when heated, allows you to make adjustments to your frames at home.

You're not just buying a pair of sunglasses. Every Waterhaul product sold directly enables the expansion of our fishing gear recovery and recycling efforts, and creates a demand for even more plastic to be removed from the ocean.

I'm so pleased with this product and I love the ethics of this business. I have been looking for them for some years! The communication and support from this company was superb, they were such a helpful team with all my questions. DEFINITELY go for these guys. The Daymer Lichen are a beautiful, funky pair of glasses. I really like the light tone and they fit me well - I think i'm generally fairly small. However, it's easy to bend the arms with a blow dryer anyway ,just to get them really snug.

Excellent optical glasses. Very nicely packaged. There was a slight issue posting my glasses, but Waterhaul rectified the situation when I dropped them an email.

Bought back in 2023, I love the company and its environmental aspect.

These glasses were great for a couple of years, however, I think the design is missing the metal along the temple end over the ear, after years of use the temple tip no longer holds its shape and bends straight, ending with it falling off my face!

A shame as I'd love another pair one day but will have to get a different brand with metal in the temples.

These are great glasses, they are my 5th pair of Waterhaul glasses I get a new pair every two years and never have any problem with them. Highly recommend

Love these Frames

Purchase a few weeks ago The quality, feel, and look can''t be beaten for the cost, and delivery time you can''t fault. One disadvantage is no option of purchasing varifocals but that was overcome by going to mojoglasses who also made some fab comments to me about the workmen ship of these frames

Good Quality with a Cause

I like the quality of the glasses, they seem very durable and the hinges are stout. The companies cause is one I am very happy to support, and will likely continue to do so in the future.

If possible in the future, it would be nice to have the option to add on an anti-glare coating to the prescription lenses when ordering.
