Our frames are built with our 100% recycled Traceable Marine Plastic (Polypropylene) that we have recovered and recycled in the UK. For every frame you can trace the exact locations of where the plastic for your batch was recovered from. Polypropylene is a lightweight, durable polymer, commonly used in fishing gear such as ropes, bait bags and mooring lines.
In the marine environment it poses a major entanglement threat to marine life, but its recovered and recycled form, it's a strong plastic suited to a very broad range of uses, and helps to give our frames a flexibility that, when heated, allows you to make adjustments to your frames at home.

I didn’t want to pay a lot of money for sunglasses that I would wear when gardening etc as I have dropped them in the past and scratched the lenses, so these glasses were perfect. I checked them over and honestly could not find a reason why they were outlet glasses, the only thing missing was a cleaning cloth. The glasses are the perfect size and shape for a small face/head and look great on. They did need some adjusting as they were slipping g down off my nose regularly but this was easy to do. Overall I am really pleased with my sunglasses.

Brilliant glasses!! I bought the full price Fitzroy glasses a few years ago (the most expensive glasses I have ever bought) and I wear them every time the sun is out!! I then started wearing them for work, but as I work outdoors, I was alway really worried about breaking them. So when I went on the website to get another pair for work, I saw that they had an outlet section that sells off pairs of glasses with small imperfections. I was sold!! The same glasses for half the price, and I don’t have to worry about them getting knocked about. Such a brilliant idea.

Although i wondered how satisfied i'd be with ordering sunglasses without trying them on I was delighted when they arrived. Knowing they are made from recycled pollution is fantastic, they are solid and feel lovely. The cork, magnetic-closing case was a bonus.
