Our adventure knife is made from 100% recycled Cornish gill nets, paired with a high-end Italian blade. The ergonomic handle with folding and locking blade makes this pocket knife your built-to-last, go-to functional pocket carry; whether you're hiking, camping, sailing, fishing, or simply exploring the great outdoors, this utility knife is designed to be your reliable companion.

0% virgin plastics, 100% recycled monofilament gill nets, which are regarded as the most dangerous form of ghost nets due to their likelihood of entanglement and invisible underwater appearance.

The green colouration of the knife is entirely derived from the original netting and has no additional pigments or dyes.

Made in Italy by precision knife makers, this adventure knife features 2.5 mm thick W 1.4034 stainless steel (56 HRC) 80mm blade with a 25 mm serrated section, secured by a simple frame-lock system.

Built to last a lifetime, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term edge retention for dependable performance.

Built for life outdoors, the Waterhaul Adventure Knife is designed to comply with current UK knife legislation. Featuring a locking blade over 3 inches (76.2 mm) in length, they can only be carried where there is a good reason to do so, for example; on a beach clean, camping trip, coastal walk or other outdoor adventure. As with any knife, it should always be carried and used responsibly, and in accordance with UK law.

Great everyday knife

A brilliant knife, I use it everyday it keeps an edge and the serrated portion is great for cutting rope and string. Feels nice in my hand and the lock is very positive and easy to use.

Good quality but not too safe

The knife blade and locking mechanism is very good quality and I love the recycled fishing net handle and the fact that the blade is made in Europe by a small scale quality manufacturer. My only problem with the knife is that it doesn't close properly and it would be very easy to slice your finger if you weren't careful with handling it when closed. It isn't safe to put in a pocket or bag when closed as the tip of the blade protrudes when the the knife is closed and will semi open revealing the sharp blade with just a slight pressure. It needs a sheath or band which sort of defeats the point (no pun intended) of having a folding knife.

Really pleased with knife, supporting an important cause and providing a tool that is great value for money, along with being very functional. For someone like me that fishes / shoots/ takes part in outdoor activities it’s an excellent bit of kit to have in your pocket.

A wonderful idea that is brilliant. The blade is really sharp. All I need is some net for the handle hole so I don’t drop the knife overboard. Well done Waterhaul

Hinge pivot is sloppy and knife feels cheap in your hand.Grind is rough and still with burrs. Fine for a cheap knife, but poor quality. Color turned out to be an unattractive dull light grey.

Just the job

Delivered quickly and exactly as described, the knife is ideal to use in surveying for plants and lichens. It suits the naturalist really well and it's good to know that it has also made a small contribution to protecting wildlife.
Thanks to all at Waterhaul.

Family Favourite

Excellent general purpose pocket knife with a secure grip even when wet. Blade holds a good edge once fully sharpened. Children (now all adults) were so impressed that they all got one as a gift. Good value.

Excellent, strongly made little knife, and the blade stays sharper for longer than many other utility knives. Love the fact that it's sustainably made.
